As the bariatric coordinator I can attest that MetroHealth is constantly trying to improve employee benefits. We have excellent healthcare plans, access to employee only dental clinics, employee discounts on specific services, and we were among the first in Ohio to receive the COVID-19 vaccines. More importantly to me, though, is that MetroHealth is constantly working to improve the city of Cleveland and surrounding areas. Being a part of the MetroHealth family means being a part of something bigger than yourself and putting good out in the world. Even as the bariatric program coordinator, I have opportunities to join different professional groups that work on providing leadership training, increasing participation in Green initiatives, and even making a commitment to increase inclusion and diversity throughout the system. The team here is like family and I am excited to see where my career at MH takes me.
