Diverse Workforce

Pros

The workforce at Metroplus mirrors the population it serves. All employees are eligible for training and some are eligible for Management and Leadership Training and Coaching. The Customer Service operations are superb. The CEO is a kind, caring person who knows the name of every employee. The door is open to everyone.

Cons

This is a non-profit organization with a strong dotted line to NYC Health and Hospital Corporation. The culture is bureaucratic and family-like. This creates a strong mixed-message to employees.

Pros

The Case Management Team is exceptional. There is wonderful departmental leadership. The team leads are supportive and professional. There are many well-trained staff with a variety of skills. The training offered is valuable for professional development. This helps you improve the level of support to your colleagues and clients. Overall, people there are very nice and friendly. Solid place for good work life balance.
