Pros

Work from home and the free internet if it’s in your area.

Cons

They promise you so many things and they don’t follow through with any of it. They try to act like they care about their employees but it’s all a show. They promise all these gift cards in training and give you one.

Pros

Some of the best people I ever worked with were at Metronet. Humble, funny, and determined were all the characteristics you would see among the crew. Everyone came from different backgrounds and brought that experience with them to Metronet. It really made a difference when you were having a bad day.

Cons

First, rampant nepotism occurs throughout the business. Low level, unqualified people hired through nepotism have secured higher positions or made up positions throughout the company. Highly qualified seniors have been looked up upon favor because of nepotism. Second, all Fiber Engineers are highly underpaid for their position and the amount of work produced. The company is getting deal by underpaying their production line. High production numbers per month from a low paying crew. Third, all reviews of the company is a cover up. All reviews are pressured by AR for new onboarding members.

Pros

I can sometimes work from home and they have an amazing budget for catering in food for reps

Cons

Micromanaged Lack of support (they try but it just doesn't work efficiently because people don't read) Training Resources are not updated for months and reps are just expected to know when things change No sick days so vacation days are required to be used if you're sick Internal software and resources have a cheap look and feel and are cumbersome The company doesn't seem to care about customers once they have them The company is not able to keep up with demand from existing customer issues yet they keep expanding into other cities Each department is Need To Know so the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing They say all the pretty things to sound like a great place but actions seem to prove otherwise Very energetically draining place to work New hires with NO work experience AT ALL are paid more than I am with more than 10 years of completley relevant experience
