The one big exception to all the wonderful staff was the back office (nursing floor) manager. I consider myself a very positive and proactive worker and have never had a conflict at work before or since this position. But the behavior of this one individual was so extreme that it drove me to therapy. Yelling, cursing, scathing public reprimands in front of patients, abrupt criticism and discipline regardless of whether you were the one at fault -absolutely shocking behavior from this individual and it happened on a daily basis. Most unsettling of all though was the fact that this person was regularly receiving performance awards from the company despite their blatant mistreatment of staff. It's really a shame because I loved everything else about this job and I would've stayed longer but I had to get out for my mental health.
