Pros
Amazing pay plus overtime! Amazing benefits package. It can be very rewarding at times. Not as stressful as most people make it seem. Easy job if you know what your doing.
Cons
They don't care about the people. It's all the needs of the shift. You basically can't have a personal life outside the four walls of your job. You have to be available 15 hours a day for five days. Unexpected mandatory overtime at times. Management is horrible! You'll spend the next 15 to 20 years trying to get weekends off. Or you'll be on the same shift for years and years. Not worth putting in all that time and missing out on the importance of your personal life especially if you have children and husband or wife to go home to. The pay is great but it's not worth making all that money if you can't see your children grow up.
