5-Stars, Wow! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Micro Center with us. We have flexible schedules, and options to swap or pick up shifts when needed. We are also working to have more set schedules for those who prefer this along with the rotating shifts that are currently in place. We wish you all the best. Sincerely, Leslie Whitley Regional HR.

Pros

Co-workers- some of the best people Management- Most managers care and want to help Schedule- can request off whenever That’s where it stops though

Cons

In the middle of the pandemic they delivered us a paycut that was devastating and and moral terrible. After that they loaded the department with more people and added more work for us to do and made it mandatory to document it with pictures on a iPad for 4$ an hr. If I wanted to merchandise more I would go work in a where house. Do this because I said so attitude from corporate isn’t going to work either because the pay isn’t worth the amount of nonsense you deal with from customers and corporate. They’re times where the pay is more tolerable than others but in long term format is unreliable I wouldn’t recommend staying here longer than 3-5 years because of the lack of promotions and pay it’s basically useless get your knowledge and get out.

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with us. Micro Center does have a commission work environment, which is base plus commission with an average range from $18-$32+ per hour. We ask our associates to merchandise products so they can better know what we sell can be knowable for our customers. The pandemic was unforeseen for everyone and was not something anyone planned for. We had to implement new processes to try and handle all that was happening at that time and beyond. As a company we definitely care about our employees, we review pay regularly, and we work on improving our processes to better serve our customers. I would encourage you to discuss your concerns with management, if you are looking for improvement as we have an open-door policy. Your manager can work with you on an action plan to assist in your career growth. Regards, Leslie Whitley Regional HR.
