Pros

Co-workers, employee discount, and nothing else.

Cons

Disrespectful management. I once asked my manager if I could make some changes to my schedule, and they told me that I should find another job if I don't like it. I was once yelled at, by a manager, in front of customers for "interrupting him." These guys don't respect you and they don't care for you or your job. They will make you do tasks outside of your job requirement and when you ask questions they won't help you. You cannot have a preferred shift. You will work 8-6 one day and 12-9 the next without any say in it. When you complain they will say, "find another job." When asking for help, they look at you like you're dumb for even asking and get angry with you that you don't know what to do. These mangers will yell at you if you ask them any questions. They are so very passive aggressive for no reason and it makes you dread coming into work. This place is absolutely miserable and I will never recommend it to any aspiring computer technician. They could do better, but I have doubts they ever will.

Commission = Pay

Pros

They let anyone in as they are constantly under staff, and managers has no experience in fixing computer so they hire anyone who can talk. They have insurance if you break while fixing computers (Gain Experience without risks). Working hours

Cons

Commission base so if you are not selling, they are not going to sit well with you. Minimum wage, raise is fixed and sad. You live and die by commission. Manager does not care as long as you hit target. People with experience will not work here Multiple shift

Pros

- Fast paced. - Managers are generally friendly. - Coworkers are friendly. - Learn as you go, hands on with everything. - Learn how to multi-task, ticketing system, customer service skills, taking apart laptops and desktops - Certifications are paid for once you pass the test.

Cons

- Managers are two faced at times. - Repetitive work after 3 months. - Pay is not competitive. - You have to put in a lot of effort to make extra commission. - Co-workers slack off and you can't do anything about it. Management doesn't do anything either. - Certifications can only be paid for if it is Micro Center related. No MCSA or CCNA Certs that the will pay for.
