Bad Management

Pros

Easy to do. Minimal Physical labor. - Unless your warehouse. Employee purchase for some items.

Cons

Management Communication between them is awful. Commision sales creates a gray area for everyone. Unfair practices when it comes to who gets what as far as commision. Web order counters take about 60% of sales. No componsation for some depeartments Managers can be demeaning as they talk to the sales associates. It is going to suck your soul away. - This is what 70% of sales associates speak amongst eachother.

Pros

You get the sense that Micro Center is run by people who actually understand computer electronics. It's a great place to learn more and generally be around computer culture.

Cons

Management is very fluid. Micro Center seems to enjoy promoting one specific CSR to something called a Floor Manager, which doesn't confer much in the way of a nicer job but rather more responsibilities. It's also very aggressive in its email retention drive, and punishes employees nightly who fail to get the minimum required (despite what station they were working that night).
