Fun and great work place, but..

Pros

You meet a lot of fun and geeky people here, both coworkers and customers. . Fun and stress-free work place with flexible schedule . Coworkers are easy to get a long with . Commission based earning for sale team . Decent benefits for empployees . Company is growing strong

Cons

You get higher commission for selling more attachments per system. With that, most of the top salepersons (not all, but 90% of them) are able to get to higher numbers by ignoring and leaving certain customers. Yet, they get awarded based on numbers for using unethical approach, yet the hard-working employees that care for the store get nothing. . Poor work ethic due to commission model . Management doesn't take employee input . Managers care more for numbers than employees . No recognition for hard-working employees

Pros

Great discount, decent pay for an entry level. Good hard work. Plus I learned tons about computers. Even the managers were cool.

Cons

Management was oblivious to scheduling discrepancies. They had me closing and opening back to back nights, all by myself. That's 9 hours in shifts, with an hour both ways commuting.

Associates are good friendly people. They work together and don't fight over commissions; sometimes even giving a part of their commissions to other associates that helped the same customer.

Cons

They require that you give every customer a flyer of all their current sales as well as set a minimum 85% name and email capture rate.
