Pros

I was given plenty of opportunities to explore other career options within the company, such as leadership or technician roles.

Cons

Preferential hours, such as the peak shopping hours on the weekend, were given to certain employees. Since the job is based on commission, this meant people who only worked during the week had worse numbers, which then perpetuated into getting the less desirable shifts.

Pros of working at micro center would be the employee discount and close proximity to electronics.

Cons

Cons of working at micro center are unpredictable hours, low starting pay(4 dollars an hour) and inconsistent pay. You are also required to work before and after store hours on 4 dollars an hour doing manual labor.

Great Discount, some great co-workers

Cons

Overworked, understaffed, underpaid. Generally disrespected position that had any spare task thrown at it, Bathroom and Carts being the worst. You make a mistake and its the end of the world, Management makes the exact same mistake and it's laughed off. Low pay and theres nothing quite like working 60+ work a week, including the entire weekend while your boss comes in M-F 7-4.
