The job description was about C#, Asp.Net API / React, but they will try to make you work only on an old Win-Form /VB.NET desktop application

Pros

Learning about SQL gaining other skills that you can bring to other jobs.

Cons

Scheduling nightmare. your schedule is dependant on how much the manager likes you. Creepy coworkers, one heard that my partner was into cosplay and the first thing out of his mouth was "does she have an onlyfans?" Company will pressure you to break off any relationships that might interfere with your commitment to the company. no remote work options. refusal to hire women because "they are a distraction in the workplace, and only cause problems"

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all employee concerns seriously and are committed to maintaining a positive and professional work environment. I would like to address some of the points you raised to clarify our practices and policies: Scheduling Practices: We strive to create fair and equitable scheduling for all employees. Scheduling decisions are based on operational needs and individual availability, not personal preferences or relationships. If you experienced issues with your schedule, we encourage employees to reach out to their supervisor or HR for resolution. Workplace Conduct: We do not tolerate inappropriate behavior or comments. The situation you described regarding your partner and cosplay is concerning, and we would have taken such reports seriously if brought to our attention. Our company is committed to creating a respectful and inclusive environment, and we address any breaches of this policy promptly. Company Policies on Relationships: Our policy does not mandate employees to end personal relationships. We value the well-being of our employees and understand that personal lives should not negatively impact their professional roles. Any concerns related to this should be discussed directly with HR. Remote Work Options: We recognize the value of remote work and are continually reviewing our policies to accommodate employee needs where feasible. At this time, our business model requires on-site presence for most roles, but we are open to discussing any specific needs or potential adjustments. Diversity and Inclusion: We strongly support diversity and are committed to providing equal opportunities regardless of gender. The claim about not hiring women is inconsistent with our values and hiring practices. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply and are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone can succeed. If you have any further concerns or wish to discuss these matters in more detail, please feel free to reach out to our HR department.
