      Open door policy for help. Not a heavy work schedule. Friendly environment. Really good benefits.

      Not a great pay scale. Not latest technology guys. Slow growth in company.

      Pros

      great work environment. employee empowerment is practiced. to some extent corporate culture is practiced i guess except for "communication is vital". microchip philippines has some of the best test engineers in the country. great engineering collaboration with the US and Thailand.

      Cons

      benefits tend to be very conservative. management in the philippines tend to ignore engineering requests for additional productivity tools like dual lcd monitors (although test engineers in the US are all using dual lcd monitors)
