      Amazing opportunity to work with bleeding edge technologies

      Cons

      Quality of experience highly dependent on manager's ability to manage. Management selection process not effective in identifying individuals who will be able to successfully lead employees.

      * Most team members I've encountered have a solid work ethic & want to do well at their jobs -- at Micron, people aren't afraid to work hard toward common goals * Global company with opportunities to interact with people from many different cultures; Travel/assignments to other global sites, depending upon your function & area * Development has become more important at Micron, looks like the company is starting to implement more programs that support team members in growing their skills

      Cons

      Some departments/areas at the company haven't caught up with the more progressive ones, in terms of work/life balance, flex-time, etc. Perhaps there are still some leadership issues to iron out?
