Pros

Lovely teammates and direct supervisors who care about you. Trans-inclusive in midst of a regressive culture.

Cons

Your workload is going to bounce between floods and droughts, and the floods can be overwhelming. Workload expectations have inflated dramatically in the last year and I know that we're making a lot of profit from the 2-hour long meetings we have every quarter, so I feel like I should be getting a bigger raise at the least.

Pros

Family comes first here at Miles IT. I work from home because I have kids in school and kids with special needs. Miles IT offers the flexibility I need to take care of them. Miles IT offers great opportunities for advancement and expanding your knowledge. Everyone I work with is super friendly, and we all strive to support and help each other succeed. We may have many divisions, but we are all one company, and we ensure each other's success.

Cons

Sometimes, I work a bit longer hours because I am so engaged in something that I can't stop until I'm done. (maybe that is my ADHD talking)

Pros

Miles IT offers a flexible work environment, including remote work options and adaptable schedules, which makes it family-friendly. The team culture is one of its strongest aspects - coworkers are friendly, supportive, and easy to collaborate with. From a professional development standpoint, there’s excellent exposure to a wide variety of systems and technologies, making it a great place to build skills early in your career. The company also encourages certifications and continuous learning, which helps with long-term growth.

Cons

Compensation can feel lower compared to the workload and expectations. At times, the pace and variety of tasks can become overwhelming, especially when juggling multiple systems or responsibilities. Additionally, the lack of dedicated sick days is a downside and can make it harder to manage personal health without using other time off.
