Pros

The money is good, the benefits are good. Coworkers are mostly great, young people in their 20s who like to have fun (and lots of them end up hooking up lol..).

Cons

Management has their heads up their *rear ends* (censored for GlassDoor -_-). The CEO doesn't care at all, their whole corporate 'lets copy Google' (because that's who you end up offering support for in Chico) fakeness is obvious and ridiculous. They micromanage your pee breaks using Verint.. You get the point. Basically, when they opened, everyone started on the same day. By the time a few months have gone by, I've taken thousands of calls to the managements dozen. Meaning, they don't really know what's going on and should trust their capable agents more.

Pros

Lots of exposure to interesting individuals.

Cons

In my time at Milestone, I saw several things that caused reason for concern. I heard the same recycled promises of advancement and compensation not only to me, but to other employees who have put in considerable amounts of time with Milestone, yet never seem to advance. I saw blatant favoritism of under qualified employees; whether it be through promotions or turning a blind eye to general work avoidance issues. There was a jubilee of unrealistic expectations, which were set by individuals who were not even directly linked to your project. I saw this take a serious toll on employee morale. Poor communication seemed to run amuck in the leadership circles, while responsibilities, outside of lower rung employee job descriptions, were passed down added to their workload. I was constantly performing duties that never fell into my job description but rather that of the person above me. This trickle down management tactic is all over Milestone. It seems that once you hit the position of supervisor/manager, your given free reign to put your leadership responsibilities on whomever you’d like; only truly working when the project manager requires action. One thing that has never made sense to me were the employee evaluations. We received employee evaluations every few months, which was fine. However, whether you performed extremely well, or poorly, the outcome was the same. NOTHING. What was the point of giving these out when there was no chance of receiving compensation for a high score? This is just another instance of the "carrot dangling" that went on here. Don't hope for a future here, unless your a friend of the boss. Oh, and did I mention they skim a large chunk off the top of your salary? The amount of work you'll put in, to the amount you receive in compensation, will make you cringe.

Pros

I was part of an awesome team made up of highly motivated individuals, received premium call center training and experience, worked on a high end project at one of the biggest tech companies in the world, and qualified for benefits.

Cons

Disorganized when it comes to switching employees over to new projects. Optimism with opportunities for alternate projects was over extended. Pay was OK (but low income by geographic standards). Project abruptly came to an end. Mandatory work on holidays making work/life balance difficult to maintain. Had to take a step back career wise when moving to a new project. Most coworkers (myself included) did not receive an annual raise.
