Pros

Great stepping stool for someone wanting to get in the industry. Great employees that have been with the company for many years and know their stuff.

Cons

HR is not for the employees. They work against you not with you. Management is not supportive. This is a company that is CONSTANTLY down sizing. They do lay offs every year around the holidays. There product quality gets worse and you are constantly having to apologize or make up lies to customers about stuff that is out of your control! and their "culture" is all fraud

Pros

The benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Toxic environment. Staff turnover is incredibly high. Any criticism of upper management becomes grounds for termination.

We completely agree with you - "fear is not a very good motivator." As the Milgard philosophy states, as a company we strive everyday to respect each and every individual within our business. Thank you for providing this insight in regards to our Temecula plant, we will most definitely be passing along this information to Senior Management to ensure no one else has this same experience.

Pros

Great learning about lean manufacturing and 5s. Great employees to work with. Good experience for fast pace production.

Cons

Management views employees as numbers not people. They focus on employees who brown nose instead of taking care of the high qualified employees who preform. I built team and broke records but continued to get passed up for promotion. I was promised opportunity and positions and then they pulled them back. Total lack of respect.

Thank you so much for providing your feedback. We love to hear that you enjoyed the lean manufacturing culture and the employees you work with. As you mention though, overtime is an issue and Milgard recognizes that - it has a significant impact on our employee's and their families. We are making every effort to evaluate the situation and make adjustments to help reduce the need for overtime.
