- Pays well - Good name to have on resume

Cons

- Sit at your desk and answer calls and emails all day. The volume of calls is ridiculous. - Long hours. Expect to work some holidays and weekends. - Teams are very lean which greatly slows down service to end users. - Absolutely no growth potential. - Lots of red tape, especially with upper management.

Extremely successful buyside hedge fund. Considered top 3 fund in NY - probably number one for longevity and consisten returns 14% over 25 years.

Cons

Has become more institutionalized in recent years. Operates more closely to a large bank than small creative Hedge Fund. From a data perspective, is very much reactionary than proactive when it comes to data procurement strategies.

Cons

Lousy base salary, operationally intensive, segregated, dated technology(aside from Position Management System). Management is non-communicative, socially awkward to put it bluntly and not to be trusted.
