Pros
You get a lot of paid time off. The insurance isn't bad.
Cons
This is the worst place for hiring friends and family members of current employees I've ever seen! In some cases family members are working in the same department and then taking each others places in management when they leave. Directors go out of their way to hire their friends children. Departments often hire student workers who are the kids of other higher ups at the college. The university hasn't given the staff a raise in years.
