Most were very kind at Milliman, good pay, good benefits, central location

Cons

As with any other organization, there were some really difficult managers that made some days miserable. The office is a little depressing - dark and closed off because only top executives get windowed rooms. So a little old school.

Not that much structure. There is a feel of detachment as everyone is working on their own things.

Pros

Well paid, Nice office, good benefits. Some very kind and intelligent people who are extremely hard workers, as well as honest and ethical.

Cons

Managers don't trust their students, work is very tedious, terrible work life balance, expect to work weekends and do not be surprised when you have to work 12 hour days for weeks on end because management never says no to additional work. Study hours are low for a consulting firm, as well as raises for students. Expect to be paid less than any other consulting firm on a per hour basis.
