SOME Senior management need to keep promises when it comes to talk of a pay rise. The company has said during formal meetings that there would be pay rises, and the new management has decided against this... (or decided to back seat it) This is a real shame when it was promised to us by director level staff over 2 months ago now.
Also, a bit more freedom or trust when it comes to staff members who are doing well. However this seems to be taken on board recently so thank you.
Finally career progression for internal over achieving staff members: It's painful to see but the company seems adamant on hiring externally for certain roles due to internal staff members experience. I fully fully understand you do not want a team of people who don't have experience in sales.. but look at some form of formal internal career progression plan then. With internal staff, you know their knowledge base (Not only of the product, but also the industry and the competition.. ) work ethic & cultural fit.. you can also see how dedicated they are to the company and how passionate they are about hitting their numbers.
