      Over Promise, Under Deliver

      Pros

      The people you work with are smart and always willing to help. There wasn't a peer that wouldn't go out of their way to offer assistance or make some time to hop on a quick huddle.

      Cons

      Lots of over promising, saying things will get better and more efficient, that they are hiring more people to lighten the workload. In reality you will have ever shifting priorities, under delivering on their promises or just completely unfulfilled, and unrealistic goals that only a select few achieve because they sacrifice their work-life balance.

      Pros

      Engineers/ICs, especially those from Mimecast of yesteryears Nice office at an easy location (if you have car) Fair amount of wfh (although hybrid) Decent food and amenities

      Cons

      Recent crop of leadership (except maybe the product lead who is pretty good) most of whom were brought in as personal contacts of an ex-CTPO (how much narcissistic one has to be to have held both the CTO and CPO title!). Some crop of leadership who were brought in via acqui-hire even though their startup has a struggling tech (the ex-CTPO easily got swayed by quick and smooth talking techies) Really bleak future (go to cybersecurity subreddit and ask/search for comparison between Mimecast and its competitors like Abnormal etc)
