Pros

They get me hired at the client site. that's only thing in pros.

Cons

Client are blood sucker, on 8 hour job they want me to work 14,16 hours per day including saturday and sunday (by putting too much work in a small time). Mindteck didn't help me anything, They are getting money from client. that's it. At the client side, we are treated like alien. Every full time employee leave at 5 or max 6 but all contractor site a long time on desk work and complete their work. The life of become joke in the client site. No benefits for contractor. get treated like alien. company suck all the blood of contactor. Both (mindteck, and client company) have worst policy for you. If you need to leave Mindteck, you need to serve 2 month notice. If they want to roll off you from the project, they can just informed you one week earlier or maybe same day. They are not firing since things are normal (the person who getting rolled-off earlier recognized as good performer).

Pros

I get my salary on time. But wait.., is this a Pros..? Am I not entitled to this?

Cons

These are truth and nothing but the truth. 1) It’s been almost 2 years since all are Working from Home. While this has its own convenience for some, most others are made to work for over 14 hours in a day. Absolutely no help from the management to check if the employees have the infrastructure/devices to deliver this from home. Most companies keep their employees happy with allowances, gifts and goodies. Some even have paid for power backups and internet connections. From Mindteck.. Nope.. Nothing at all. 2) Its August and there is no news about when there will be increments which was supposed to happen in April or May. So, we have already past 6 months. HR has no basic courtesy to keep the employees informed about this when they can send emails on Fun activities, weekly reminders about updating leaves and timecards. Our increments/salary is more important for us then the Fun activities. They are sure there will be mass resignations after the increment figures come out and probably that is the reason for the delay. 3) The Top Management executives schedule Townhall’s and “Touching Base…” videos where they only talk about revenue, new clients they have onboarded and how they have performed. Nothing…, not even a single word about what will they be doing for the employees who put their blood and sweat in achieving this. 4) If you are part of the team who has a good and responsive manager, you should consider yourself lucky. HR team is for namesake and they never interact with you know if there are any concerns. Now even if they reach out and you mention your concerns, it will be noted and later quickly forgotten before you blink an eye. 5) Company has no collaboration tools and investment in technology. Even basic software’s like outlook, word and excel are available only for Managers and above. Now in response to this review, I will probably be asked to contact the HR and discuss issues personally. Oscar Wilde once said, “Give a man a mask and he’ll tell you the truth”. Rather than asking me to contact you, please think about the above points and work towards them. If you dare, please request an employee satisfaction survey and you will yourself know what the employees think about the company.

Mindteck Response

Hello, fellow Mindtecker. Thank you for shedding light on the areas in which your five-plus year Mindteck tenure now seems to be quite underwhelming. I would like to take this opportunity to address some of your key concerns as follows: - Work-life balance: Although we consistently strive to ensure that our employees are not overburdened at any time, there are instances of extended workdays being required when project requirements suddenly change or deliveries are accelerated. The 14-hour timeframe seems highly unusual, so I hope you flagged this with the related parties. If not, be sure to reach out to Sreeja at mindtecklistens@mindteck.com so that appropriate measures can be taken if deemed warranted. Though the company has provided some financial support to Mindtecker families who were impacted by the pandemic, you are correct about us not offering a broad-based WFH package of extra benefits to employees. After much deliberation, this measure was deemed not viable due to the company’s size, as well as business situation in light of the pandemic. The emphasis on revenue that you have eluded to is to ensure the organisation grows to a level that it is able to afford additional “allowances, gifts and goodies”. - Increments: Our performance evaluation cycle lasts 12 months, after which it generally takes up to four months to process and complete the reward exercise-increment cycle. Going forward, we will keep employees more informed about the cycle stages. - Communication: As is the case practically everywhere, frequent and transparent communication is imperative to maintaining trusted relationships. Thank you for letting us know that you feel there are gaps in this regard. While I understand that you want action and may not wish to talk further about your concerns, I hope you recognise that it would be helpful to hear and learn more. If you are open to continuing the dialogue with anyone in particular (Anand, our CEO, for instance) please write to Sreeja and she can set it up. Until then, take care and stay safe.

Worst Management - Company is going downhill

Pros

The employees and many Project Managers are good. If the company still sustains after 25+ years is because of their hard work. I guess the management or HR has no contribution in this.

Cons

Ok. Where do I Start? 1) They are losing business with every passing day and the CEO is just interested in creating new management roles and filling it up paying them hefty salaries. These new management positions just enjoy the perks, travel onsite, pass their time wondering what he/she is supposed to do and then eventually resign(some within months). They do not even try to understand what is going on with the existing projects and their employees. 2) The projects still run on old school technology and there is absolutely no innovation. 3) The sales team is a bunch of useless, good for nothing people who have no idea what they can sell and how can they sell? One look at the proposals they submit will get them rejected by the clients. A 25+ year old company and they are still struggling to make profits. 4)While other companies are getting more open day after day, Mindteck restricts all your access to innovation and information. All sites are blocked here except for their internal websites.
