Work on old technology, confused management, no long term vision because most of the management themselves are not long enough in the company, grape vine is the standard source of information, fake promises to employees and clients, very political atmosphere. Very simple way one can analyze the situation that it is a 26+ years old company struggling to make profit, dabbling with almost same revenue that it had 26+ years back and engineering team size has reduced over the years.
