Pros

Helping elderly with their hearing Gaining more admin experience

Cons

-Managers lied about job description and pay -Micromangement from both managers and coworkers -Blame heavy culture, passive aggressive management -You have to train yourself -Cold calling the elderly and feeling bad about it -Nepotism based hierarchy -Either your store is slow and boring or constantly busy and chaotic Helping people hear clearly is so satisfying and fulfilling. But management is controlling and cult like and won't train you properly. When I'd ask questions I'd get word filled non answers so they can say they helped you, and management will call you dumb if they don't ignore your questions completely. There's a lot of really talented Hearing specialists at this company but management takes advantage of that and makes them go to work at different stores throughout the region like they're pawns. A lot of people I've talked to said they will often have to travel 1 or 2 hours to get to work for open houses and this was unfortunately normalized. It's sad management consistently keeps morale low, its most likely whats causing high turnover rates and keeping good employees from staying long. A lot of these hearing specialists deserve better rather than being made to travel crazy distances and work multiples stores. Overall, I think management is lacking in ethics and empathy and overtime it can trickle down to the employees
