      Challenging but worth it

      Pros

      You learn how to navigate so many things that will help you later in your career. Prospecting, closing, objection handling, negotiating, inbound & outbound sales, following a sales process, selling high-value equipment, it can set you up very well for a job in pharma/med device sales down the line. So many resources for success.

      Cons

      You have to love what you do. The work is demanding and the clientele is not the easiest to manage. You have to deal with a lot of patients who may not be well educated, have dementia, are low income, are expecting insurance to cover the cost, or even expect you to give them free hearing aids. Its a customer service job + health provider role + sales role all in one.
