Not a startup but not corporate yet, still a small company.
Pros
The whole company is singular of focus. They do one thing and they are the best at it. The company is frugal with its investor's money but still pays for quality people. Very tight family feeling, small company, everyone helps everyone else. They succeed as a team or they don't succeed type mindset.
Cons
Small company issues that are pervasive everywhere - Lack of a matching 401k - No structured advancement path, meritocracy still rules here, if you're not vocal about your success, no one will notice. - Bonus/Raise structure is less transparent than most would like - Tons of work, lots of late nights. If you don't love what you do, this is not the place for you. We all work the extra hours because we want the company to succeed at all levels.
