Pros

Mirion is a stable, growth focused company and as such the Oak Ridge, TN facilities are expanding. The current GM and other company leaders have their eyes on the ground, are fair, respectful of their team, recognize employee effort and talent, provide continued education opportunities and promote from within where possible. While the Oak Ridge facility has always been a good place to work at, management communication, team spirit, team cohesiveness and support has improved tremendously over the last two years and provided a more positive work environment. Personally, I truly appreciate the company and site leadership's ethics, honesty, trustworthiness, and the respect the company and site leaders have for their co-workers and employees.

Cons

As the Oak Ridge site goes through it's growing stages, career advancement opportunities are not always as quickly as available as some employees would like and patience can be key. Likewise, the company growth is bringing it's own temporary growing pains and increased work schedule and requirements. Hard work, wearing several hats and multi-tasking are requirements at all times to make it through these changes together as a team.

This is a great company to work for.

Pros

--Change in management over the last few years...which was really needed --Flexibility with life to work circumstances --Empathy for personal situations --Great people to work with --Knowledgeable employees --Turnover rate is very low --Employees are allowed to express their opinions and ideas freely

Cons

--Some employees causing un-needed drama which brings morale down (Management has been addressing these employees on an individual basis) --To much red tape to go through when dealing with an underperforming employee --Oak Ridge facility only gets reviews from the employees who get some form of disciplinary action placed against them.
