Pros
The customers and other employees are generally nice
Cons
After Imperfect Foods was acquired by MM, they killed off 401k contributions from the company, didn’t provide raises for almost two years, and cut down paid time off. They offer two ten minute breaks in an 8 hour shift and expect a 94% adherence which doesn’t consider time to close a live contact and switch aux. They offer a $25/week credit towards food, but a jar of jam is 1/3 of that plus you have to pay shipping. This means the credit is $19 unless you purchase $60 of overpriced food. They introduced a merch store to employees, and tout that you use earned points to buy swag. The kicker is you have to pay $10 in shipping anyways, so again you have to pay them for a “benefit”. Many employees are on food stamps, we could use more food credit than a keychain. After one of several mass layoffs that occurred in 2023, the CEO Abhi disconnected the meeting and refused to take any questions immediately after the employees voiced concerns. The metrics are just barely attainable and designed so you get zero breathing room. They micromanage and treat you like a number.
