Thank you for the positive and the constructive feedback! We're really glad to hear you feel supported in a work/life balance and are happy with the opportunities for training. We know resourcing and scaling has been and continues to be an issue. We are doing our best to get all departments stabilized by this year, but please keep telling us your feedback and helping us support you!

Pros

- Excellent benefits (including for dependents) - Provides a lot of exposure to new technologies; great place to learn and gain experience - Competitive salaries - Very talented and driven teams across all departments

Cons

- Lack of formal process and scattered tooling; things are all over the place with not a lot of solid processes. - Slow pace of change/lack of ability to drive change; feels like nothing ever changes for the better and that none of us really have a say in the company direction. - Siloed; technical service offerings are made in a vacuum without insights from the people with technical experience. Not much feedback between teams. No standardization or shared tools, process, documentation, etc. - Bad work/life balance and unreasonable work stream. Lots of "consolidation of roles" and "wearing many hats". Hard to take PTO without putting enormous strain on colleagues. Lack of tooling and proper KPIs leads to bad resource and utilization planning. Too many fires to deal with all the time.

We completely hear you. The pace at Mission can be overwhelming and we're definitely building the plane as we fly it. We are addressing tooling and staffing issues - we never, ever want you to feel like you can't take PTO! One thing that we'd like to address with you, if you're comfortable, is your feeling that you aren't heard and you don't have a say in the company direction. We have different ways for direct communication with leadership, but if those aren't working for you, please tell us!
