      Pros

      Mistras has many resources and are utilized for many projects. Great customer service and great employees. If you are going to learn more about the industry, there are experts that know what they are doing. Leader in advanced methods of Non-Destructive testing.

      Cons

      Because it is so large, good people are sometimes overlooked. There is a lot of turnover to other smaller companies that do not have a Master Service Agreement with the customer.

      You get sent out to the field relatively quick which is good for accumulating in the field hours.

      Cons

      No protocol for pay raises, completely random and like pulling teeth.

      Worked with minimal oversight in job responsibilities Good relationship and communication between departments

      Cons

      Very large organization. For such a large organization, I believe that the Corporate Compliance Department where I worked should not have been reduced. If cost cutting was the reason, another less critical department should have been targeted.
