Most dysfunctional workplace I have ever experienced. Many of the employees are related and receive preferential treatment from manager (also a family member).

Lots of room for growth if you have the drive to earn certifications.

Cons

Pay was lower than industry standard, and getting the certifications you want came second to getting the certifications management wanted you to have. Both of these points are not companywide though, and are largely dependent on what lab you work for. Work life balance is non-existent, especially during turnaround season if you are on the refinery side of things
