Pros

Get to know different technologies, get to work with spark, aws. Will get a chance to work in different parts of the data processing, which is nice exposure.

Cons

Timing is a big con, as workers stay at different parts of country, so sometimes match the time is a problem

Biased environment. Many restrictions on the employees for even taking offs or short breaks during the day.

Pros

Nice, friendly, supportive colleagues Good company culture, flat structure, no politics Flexible working hour Use cutting edge technology, nice infrastructure, smart business idea.

Cons

Teams are scattered around the world so be prepared for bizarre working hours, early meetings, night calls, night shifts. Communication is an issue too. Sometimes pace can be very fast. No bonus, minimal benefit. Depending on the team, there can be micro-management, no process in-place, no best practices, and intense (but non-productive) meetings.
