Pros

The Customers and the Community Involvement Hours (good, but things did change) There were a few really good people that worked there. I had some of the best regionals (it was their bosses who changed and it ruined it all)

Cons

The new upper management that came in, changed the entire pay structure, so even if you had been there for several years, 3+, 5+, 7+ years, it didn't matter. Pay was subject to change at anytime, and it did, every year I worked there. The payplan itself was re-written, It got smaller and smaller, but the store got bigger and bigger and the responsibility grew, but the pay and annual raises did not coincide with the store business growth. This was even worse after the new management took over... Hours used to be 8-5 Mon through Friday, no weekends.. then it became weekends by appointment only, as of my departure it is now mandatory weekends. Saturday only. They do require event attendance and expo attendance, not the worst because the customers are great, but it can be annoying when they are required last minute to cover another store.

Pros

Helping people gain mobility and independence. Improving quality of life for people with disabilities.

Cons

Extreme micromanagement. Corporate is oblivious to the problems at the store level and does not provide solutions. They only know numbers and don't care about the issues behind the numbers. Can't keep shop personel because they won't pay them fairly and they are overburdened with corporate regs. Just cut pay for sales people so many of them are leaving. The past year or so they have been trying to cut costs everywhere, always at the expense of their employees. If you complain or question you get fired. Stay away.
