Pros

Wonderful people. Also many opportunities to move up. Excellent benefits.

Cons

Moda jumped in with both feet and took on too much business during the affordable care act. They were unprepared for the influx of business. Pay is a little low.

Pros

Experience in a call center , 1 hour lunch, Learned dental terminology

Cons

Low wages for the amount of stress you go through daily. Discounts to major brand company's do not apply to Alaska employee's, $60 monthly parking, No advancement in Alaska. Oregon policies are different from Alaska. Alaska empolyees are let go frequently. Family medical leave doesnt apply to Alaska employees. If you call out because your kids are sick. Its one point . Their's a 7.5 point system. To earn a point back it takes a year. Performance is based on adherence. You take an average of 46+ call's daily back to back. You calls are listened to and your available time is watched all day. Monthly meeting's consist of your adherence. Poor training with the policies, and system.

We’re sorry to hear that you felt as though your opportunities in Alaska were limited. We appreciate the input and employee feedback like your helps us advance our mission to be better. Regarding our attendance tracking and adherence, we also appreciate the feedback. Running a business is a balance between ensuring flexibility in supporting our employees and also ensuring that we have parameters in place to make sure we meet our customers needs. We feel it is necessary to have limits on the amount of absences and time away from the phone to be able to provide exceptional service. We appreciate that you shared your experience with us, and we will continue to work to make improvements. Thank you for your valuable comments!
