Pros

I have had a JOURNEY here at MA! This experience has allowed me to grow in multiple ways and I am so happy I made the decision 2 years ago to leave a toxic work environment and come to Modern Animal. The people in this company are truly passionate about sticking to our principals and ensuring we are on the right path to building a brand that supports not only our patients but also our people.

Cons

Growth is at a high rate and can be stressful. Often times we are building as we go and can be fast paced. Worth it!

Great place to work virtually

Pros

I am a fully remote employee and have been with the company for more than a year. While there are challenges, I have consistently felt supported, heard, and challenged in my job. I can honestly say this is the best place I have ever worked and I have never dreaded getting out of bed in the morning to go to work as I have with other past jobs. The virtual care team is a great bunch of people who truly value and support their teammates

Cons

MA is still a startup and there’s lots of growing pains, it’s to be expected when things are being done or thought of that hasn’t been done before in the veterinary feild. Sometimes it feels like we’re reinventing the wheel but the intent is good and feedback is encouraged to fix what isn’t working for everyone

Pros

Inclusive company that is great at supporting employees and providing resources for many different needs both inside and outside of the work place.

Cons

Inconsistent scheduling for shifts. Hours are never detracted but weekday/weekend shifts can change pretty often.
