Pros

The only pro I had was the work from home option which appears to be going away

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism in this company. As well as bullying and bigotry by managers that continues to be promoted! One in particular made a very loud homophobic remark about an employee and nothing was ever done about it!

Pros

Modern pest is a great company to work for. we have a great team of leaders who really make employees feel appreciated and have no problem recognizing gard work . Modern offers Great benefits, great competitive pay and there is so much room to grow and learn new things. Management has no problem working with employees to accommodate schedules with proper notice. They are usually there to answer any questions you may have on the road. modern pest is a Teamwork focused environment. if you enjoy customer service, problem solving and helping people modern pest is the company for you. Best decision of my life was applying here at modern pest.

Cons

Saturday work sometime, sometimes it can get stressful. And sometimes you work long hours . But im sure this goes for any job.

Pros

Leadership believes in the business and in our team members. I feel valued as an employee and I know my voice matters. The General Managers are fully invested in their teams and will go above and beyond for them. I joined this company to feel like I wasn't "just a number," and Modern has delivered! There are infinite ways to grow and move up in this company for those who are seeking a career!

Cons

Modern is growing rapidly, and was acquired by Anticimex in 2017. As a result, many changes have been made to the business model as we assimilate with the other Anticimex platforms. In the big picture, this results in great opportunities for growth and development, but it can be hard on team members who struggle with change. The busy season can be hectic, but that's the nature of the Pest Control industry! Modern strives to provide team members with training partners and easily available resources to ensure that new hires feel supported during the summer months.
