Cons
Upper management is terrible. They don't care about their employees and hiring other incompetent managers. This company is also very unstable. I've worked for them for years and despite what they tell you about the company doing well it's not the truth. Each year they close down branches and lay off company wide without fail. They don't care about tenure they will get rid of you too.

Management should make attempts to understand the issues the teams are facing. They are aloof. Commission structure is poor. Need lot more account managers who can do business development. Lots of lost opportunities!

I started working with Modis in early 2019. When I first came into the role I had no experience but the environment and team were super helpful to get me my first hire. This was within weeks and I saw the largest paycheck I have ever seen! On top of that they amped up our commission structure so the opportunity to make even more money is there and my paychecks are increasing week by week! The support system is phenomenal and the money you can make is uncapped and truthfully you cannot beat it. Management does not micro manage you, they will at times dive into your numbers and offer you help on how to improve but its 100% for support and your own success. When managers have done this to me in the past I've only seen improvements come out of it.

I wish I applied to Modis earlier! Nothing bad to say.

The people and work environment are collaborative, inspiring, and helpful. I'm lucky to have a great Manager who is a great leader but I know there are some who may now have the same support. Work Life Balance is better now that we have moved to WFH - it did take quite some time to align with our competitors at the beginning of the pandemic. There is movement towards professional development across the board & the DE&I initiatives have been progressive and well received.
Cons
Would love to see more career development for Operations. In the past, this is a role that is great for the Associate level but there are individuals who would like to feel invested in and encouraged in their career growth especially internally. Corporate opportunities are scarce. SLT can be overbearing in their message that trickles down to the field.
