Pros

Good people, good advancement potential.

Cons

Upper management treats people like data points. Try to do the job of 10 people with 5.

Very committed to diversity

Pros

Molecular Devices is very committed to hiring, promoting and advocating acceptance in terms of race, sexual orientation, and women. A lot of programs through the parent company, Danaher, to foster a culture of inclusion.

Cons

In my opinion goals across most of the jobs are very aggressive and often unsustainable since they're always adjusted upwards based on what was reached the previous year. Work life balance can suffer.

Pros

Great team and great training and growth plan

Cons

The salary does not always align with the market. More flexibility in salary negotiations will be good.
