      Pros

      Facilities are clean and look good from the outside. Employees (all the way up through senior management) are friendly.

      Cons

      Molex recognizes the future of being a connector business is commoditization and are attempting to create higher value electronics and software solutions. Results are....less than stellar. Lots of work (..as in years...) needs to be done before Molex can shed its reputation as a connector company and in the meantime the business will continue to struggle.

      Pros

      Financially stable company with a global footprint. A very large organization with many employees who have been there for long periods. Good people to work with and decent management. The cons are pretty minor compared to the upside. I only left for a significant pay increase at another company.

      Cons

      The scale of the company leads to some levels of inefficiency and bureaucracy. The longevity of the company can cause some resistance to change. One note is that the company had an ownership change shortly before I left so there may have been significant changes since my time.
