Pros

A couple reasons to work for Our365 is being able to work with newborns and being able to capture their first moments of life on camera. Being able to please moms and dads with my work is a beautiful experience and a lot of fun.

Cons

Pushy management telling us we're not doing the best work we can when we're out there every day pushing ourselves to take beautiful photos and sell as much as possible for close to minimum wage. Also, camera support is impossible to get a hold of. Whenever I have a problem with the camera or computer, it takes nearly 30 minutes to get a hold of someone who can help. This takes away from my time with the new moms, not to mention my commission, because I can't do anything when our technology isn't working!

Pros

If you like babies it is great to get to photograph them in their first hours of life. It is kinda cool to know that they might have a photo their whole lives that you took.

Cons

The whole system is a scam. It is really hard to sell to people when they are already so overwhelmed. Obviously, not everyone is going to be ready to get pictures taken when you come to their room, so you end up spending half your time waiting for moms to be done feeding, talking to the nurse, etc. Since you get paid commission, and it is divided by the hours you work, your commission ends up getting watered down. The worst part is if you need to call in sick. My grandmother died and I was unconsolable so I tried to get the other girl who works at the same hospital to cover for me. She was already covering for someone at a different hospital who had a fever. My coworker called our manager for help and so our manager called me. My manager tried to berate me into going to work by telling me my dead grandmother would have wanted me to go to work that day. In the end my coworker ended up going to our hospital for me, and the sick girl was forced to come to work with a high fever. What kind of company would want sick people around newborns? What kind of company would want to force someone who just lost a family member to come to work? It's really disgusting.
