Rewards silos, micromanaging. bullying, and lays off employees cold-heartedly - TOXIC, AVOID.
Pros
Benefits, and the team I worked with were cool when not harassed by seagull managers who believe they are the next Steve Jobs but in reality are average at best and totally insecure that they need to take it out on anyone who isn't at their level.
Cons
It rewards those who have been there for many years with full impunity to micromanage and overwork their reports. Management often canceled 1:1's and then would swoop in to criticize and be overbearing. Played favorites and generally created a very toxic culture with no chance of progression because they had to be "the smartest person" in the room. When laid off my direct manager didn't even have the courage to be at the Zoom meeting or email me afterwards. It's a cold heartless place with NO room for innovation at all. Extremely toxic.
