Pros

None, none, none, and none

Cons

Toxic, unprofessional, nepotism, too many to list! There cannot possibly be a worse working environment than Monarch. None of the management including the CEO have any idea what they are doing. Toxic, unprofessional, unsafe. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for another place to work otherwise you will regret working at Monarch every single day. Also, the HR reps that reply to these messages actually have no idea what goes on and have 0 power to do anything about the horrendous working environment. Do not be fooled by the attempt to show the company actually cares - it does not.

Upper Management Does NOT Hear Us

Pros

Fulfilling working with the people we support, great staff with similar visions, if you can keep a good team together you are lucky

Cons

Upper management dictates down decisions without asking us what we need/want. Adding extra staff to our team without letting us interview or letting us even know, changing the dynamic of our team culture, affecting our team budget, not allowing for our input. Dictating commands to us through new staff who are friends with the CEO. Low morale due to this. Not enough care for staff morale, especially for those who worked the entire pandemic with no reimbursement for using our own equipment in the field (our cell phones, ipads, laptops, etc.). It is so frustrating to feel like our complaints go no further than our own supervisor. We have lost a lot of good staff due to that.

Pros

You get to work with adults with disabilities

Cons

1. They only claim to be person centered, as in the company policies take into account the people they serve. 2. They will look for anyway to cut corners 3. They are more concerned with expansion, then they are care. 4. They will reduce a program to daycare just because it is profitable. 5. They don't want the program to be in the black they want it to be in the green so they can use that money to further expand their business. 6. They expect they're workers to hold them accountable. 7. They will cut the budget for a group homes, groceries. 6 individuals have to live off off 250 a week. 8. There is a company wide lack of communication. 9. When they do attempt to communicate, it's only through the use of buzwords. 10. The President, Peggy, of the "Nonprofit" makes over 400,000 a year, but won't pay anyone else a living wage because they're always waiting for the state to increase budgets.
