Pros

1) The people. My manager was awesome, and I genuinely like the people I worked with, maybe because we could all relate about how absolutely miserable we were. Regardless, we still keep in touch. 2) I will never EVER take another job in my life for granted or complain. This was by far the worst job and I was treated like a slave. (think child labor)

Cons

Here it goes: 1) This wasn’t my first job out of college like it was for most ISAMs but they treated you as if you were straight stupid. I kid you not, I sat in almost a 2 hour training meeting (keep in mind we have a quota to make) telling us what we could not wear in the office, example #1 being ripped jeans. Wait a second…ripped jeans are NOT professional? GET OUT OF TOWN! My business degree NEVER taught me that! 2) Quota: You are expected to hit a quota everyday, once you start hitting it, they expect more, more, more. Which is to be expected in Sales. However, if for some reason you just hit your quota they’ll ask you why? what could you have done different? how are you going to change what you do tomorrow? As if I wanted to fail or not exceed quota. (Here's a hint: I did the same thing everyday , some days I got 5 meetings, somedays I got 0.... IT'S SALES) 3) Once you start getting more meetings, then they take away accounts that you have been successful with and mastered. There were times where I ran out of people to call… Now you tell me, how are you supposed to hit a quota if you don’t even have enough contacts to reach out to? Oh that’s right! Find more, aka enter in BS contacts that are not worth reaching out to. 4) Overall this job turned me into such a bitter and negative person, I hated who I was because of my job, and felt sick to my stomach every Sunday, knowing what I had to go back to. Some ISAMS would get physically sick from being so nervous about failing and being ostracized in front the office and "ISAM Nation." No one should ever feel that way. 5) Turnover. I can't event count the amount of people I saw leave, and I was only there for 3 months...sad. I'd say there was more turnover than people in the actual office. Worst part is I expressed my concern about this in my interview, they lied. 6) Getting fired. No matter how hard you may try, it won't happen until you quit. They're too cheap to pay unemployment. So they'll make you miserable until you can't deal with it anymore. Long story short, I quit, along with 6 other ISAMs (there were 9 of us) and I got my life back. with a hell of a lot better job/company. ***To all recent college grads out there…you have been warned, respect yourself and don’t settle for this job…they WILL hire you.****

Pros

At least you have people to commiserate with - because everyone is equally miserable

Cons

Mondo is a group of unorganized, disgruntled, lost young people who somehow ended up at the company as either result of either A) Passion for the staffing industry, B) Job recommendations from enemies, C) The oh no moment one has when realizing his/her Bachelor's Degree is in French Poetry, or, the most unfortunate and also most common option, D), plain old bad luck.
