Huge growth opportunity; very challenging goals
Pros
-Huge growth opportunities in terms of career skills and level -Very large total addressable market - huge upside and potential -Competitive total compensation but low base compared to big tech companies -Sincere and nice people -Generous parental leave policy -Transparent Executive Leadership team
Cons
-Challenging goals you are tied to each quarter that impact your ability to get promoted -Pretty corporate culture i.e. open concept cubicles, tools in place for some micro management -Cheaper than other tech companies i.e. no wfh stipends, or real big tech perks -Not all orgs get to experience flexibility of remote work which makes it hard to attract and retain some talent -Flexible PTO not properly respected; it's normal to answer work emails while on PTO despite management verbally discouraging it -Growing pains -Interviews don't always give realistic expectations of challenges within role -High possibility of burnout if workload is not managed properly -L&D is somewhat lacking i.e. no education stipend and courses only focus on theoretical soft skills
