Cons
It is unfortunate what is going on at Media Monks. I worked for this company for over 3 years. I spent many late nights making sure projects were complete for clients, never hesitated to work weekends, and always tried to go above and beyond to help my team. I was proud of where I worked. Unfortunately I was laid off without any notice, and the only reason given that I was part of the mass layoffs happening within the company. It is sad that you go above and beyond for a company, and given no respect in return. To echo another review I saw on here, I would have a lot more respect for Media Monks if we were told in advance what was going on, and that our jobs were at risk as a result. Instead this whole process comes across as shady, and I am sure affects the team members that are still at the company. It is also very clear Media Monks is laying off people in the US, and hiring more people in Latin America. (Who I assume are paid much less, yet they work on projects with US clients who are still being charged US rates).
