Pros

MU pays 3,000 per course for teaching English first year composition. You can teach two courses. You get an office, reasonable parking, small classes, professional develpment, etc.

Cons

Teaching at this institution is great, but, as with many universities, it is hard for an adjunct to move up and advance to Instructor, especially with a MA instead of a Ph. D. Most adjuncts who do this "for fun," will love it, but if you're trying to get a full time job teaching...it is very difficult.
