Earlier years were great but leadership changed and it went downhill quickly. I wish they would have retained the culture which was what had kept me at the company. The owner was more involved and caring about the employees but he is not as involved any more which has drastically hurt the company as the new leader is uncaring and only cares about getting richer.

Cons

Some senior management are abusive to employees and HR ignores any complaints. Favoritism is rampant and unprofessional. The regional managers who are cruel to their employees are well liked by executive team. The new leadership care only about squeezing every nickel out of the properties and employees and have no regard for the people working at the properties driving income. They refuse to spend money to improve their class C and D properties and leave the operations staff to fend off the multiple complaints from the residents. The salary levels are below the industry standards. Nepotism is rampant and hurts the company. When I resigned from Morgan to work for another company I received a substantial pay increase and have been working for a company and supervisor that actually value and respect their employees. It was the best move I made! It is refreshing to now work for a company that is professional, provides superior housing to their residents and treats their employees very well. Stay away from Morgan Properties!!!

They take the time to provide excellent training upon hire and consistently throughout your career at Morgan Properties. My Regional Manager is very supportive and she is available whenever needed. The company fosters a team atmosphere and supports both your personal and professional growth.
