Pros

None. Staff are horrible, not the cleanest facility and lack of care..State needs to come in and do a walk through. Does not even deserve a rating. 👎👎👎👎

Cons

Pay is horrible, staff treat you like dirt, residents not taken care of...High turnover, they hire anybody even with no experience. I would not recommend applying here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I WALKED OUT AFTER 20 MINUTES. Definitely would not have a loved one here..

Pros

The residents are the best part of the job

Cons

This company prides itself on "culture" but certainly they do not walk the talk. The Home Office will sell you a dream, they will make you feel like you are walking into an incredible experience when it is actually more like a toxic Lion's Den of Horrors. Lack of staffing, exceedingly high turnover, working staff until they almost have a breakdown, and creating a toxic/mistrustful environment are all part of a day in the life at Morningstar. Keep selling that culture you so fiercely try to protect, it is non-existent and it is really a shame.

This review cuts us to the quick. When EDs choose to walk out without notice, it reveals the degree to which they truly care about their team and our residents. That character quality does not comport with MorningStar’s core values. A preponderance of evidence attests to the unfairness of these allegations. Culture is the centerpiece of MorningStar, the air we breathe. It’s our brand turned inward, toward each other as teammates, in joint service to seniors. We fiercely protect it while knowing that agreement and alignment from every team member is necessary to live it out consistently and sincerely. We wish you the best.
