Pros

Very positive environment. Everyone is very helpful and welcoming. Very strong culture that places an emphasis on honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect. I've never worked for a company that placed such importance on company values. I've also never worked for a company that values their employees as much as they do here. Morris-Jenkins also invests a lot of time into training and continuous learning opportunities. Also, I have the best work-life balance I've had in my career. Wide variety of benefits offered including, std/ltd, life insurance, medical/dental/vision insurance, and generous PTO.

Cons

Medical insurance is costly and no matching 401k

Pros

This place is wonderful! I worked here for a while and then my husband, who is in the army, got stationed out of town (I obviously went) they worked with my schedule very well! They're all very positive and friendly. If you have any questions at all they always help you and coach you. They strive to make sure the company is constantly does the right thing for their employees and their customers. The management team is outstanding(in every department) , they're so kind and so willing to help you help yourself. I mean, this is a place where the owner of the company (Dewey Jenkins) calls you by your first name in the hall ways and asks how your day's going ect. The president (Johnathan Bancroft) who I called "John" said he was sad to see me go. Everyone is just so amazing honestly!!

Cons

If you're wanting to find a job where you can be lazy and kick your feet up on the desk this isn't the job for you. You've got to be willing to work your shifts and sometimes work ot. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS A JOB, it's not going to feel like a day at Disney world. There are angry customers, there are people who think you can do better (and that's true, there's always room for improvement). There are hard days and there are good days.

They only care about numbers

Pros

Large company, great customers.

Cons

Management only cares about sales numbers. Too much pressure and stress. No upward mobility unless you have the highest sales numbers. Supervisors are never available. Always in meetings.

We are a culture before strategy organization that prides itself on living our values and purpose. Each position does have basic requirements of accountability. I'm sorry to hear that you felt these were too stringent. We have one of the largest support to field ratios in our industry which delivers real time help and assistance to all of our front-line members. We also are known to have the highest compensated workforce in our industry. We have nationally been recognized in our industry as The Best Contractor to Work For, and we were honored to be the 2016 Top Workplace in all of the greater Charlotte area. We all work together as a team to fulfill our purpose of serving other people and making it easy for them to do business with us. What makes this occur is our steadfast and unwavering commitment to live by our core values of honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect for everyone we meet in our daily lives. While these values are perfect, we as human beings are not, and people fall short of these perfect values. We thank you for your work as an employee on our team and wish you success and happiness with your future employer.
