Pros

Motion was my first job out of college and I've worked here for over 5 years. In addition to really enjoying the people I work with, I think what has kept me at the company for this time period is the amount of growth opportunities that have been presented to me. I have received three promotions during my time here, all of which have taught me invaluable lessons both in business as well as in my personal life. Motion has an awesome training program, and really invests time into their employees. I also have a ton of people within Motion that I can lean on and turn to when I need advice and guidance. It is a fun sales culture and a place where being yourself is really encouraged.

Cons

Like any profession, sales isn't for everyone. No matter what stage of your career you are in, sales takes focus and hard work. If you're someone that is very hard on themselves and/or doesn't respond well to constructive criticism, then you will struggle to succeed in this career

Pros

Motion wants you to succeed and move up in the company. They want what's best for you and even encourage you move to different teams/regions. The Environment is awesome, you find people with similar stories of moving up throughout the company, they understand what issues/situations you might be dealing with and can help. The culture is great, happy hours, team events, and team sports outings. They encourage people getting together outside of work to get to know each other better. When they promote employees they surprise them and get the rest of the office there to congratulate them.

Cons

At first the hours can be long, but that is to help build your book of business and to do the best you can. They recommend doing it, but not mandatory.

Pros

Training provided by people who have come up through the ranks and know the nuances of the business Opportunity to recruit and sell, giving you exposure to all facets of the recruiting process Growth potential into many focused disciples including full desk sales, candidate sourcing/recruiting, business development and enterprise account expansion

Cons

Like most sales jobs, there are certainly ups and downs and it is important to be vocal about your struggles so people can help you get through any tough times you encounter
